I had a great first impression of the place. Came in with a friend last night and went in for a sit down meal. The Food was esquisit and tasty. I had the garlic chilli prawns for the starter then the Gurkhali Special which was absolutley fantastic. Cooked to perfection. The ambience and quietness of this place along with the tables carefully distanced made for a comfortable dining experience. Great service, food and atmosphere. The wine was pretty refreshing too. Would highly recommend this place to any of my friends.

 

We’d been waiting for Gurkha Lounge to open for a while but unfortunately the COVID lockdown prevented its opening until the beginning of June. We ordered and collected the takeaway on Saturday 20th and loved it. The staff were friendly, attentive and opened the door for us, there was a hand sanitiser station by the door and the restaurant, although closed, will be great once it’s open for eating in. We ordered lamb momo and chilli king prawns to start and loved them, main courses of tiger prawn Sangem was full of flavour, and the Gurkhali Special and a delicious kick to it.
